We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced software engineers with a finance background who can help train their latest language model on finance-focused engineering tasks. We're looking for senior and staff engineers with 5+ years of experience building systems in financial contexts. You understand the unique demands of engineering in finance: the performance constraints, the regulatory requirements, the cost of getting calculations wrong, and the complexity of the data pipelines that underpin it all. That combination of software engineering rigour and financial domain knowledge is exactly what this work requires.
You’ll create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated work across core finance engineering workflows: financial data modelling, system design for high-reliability environments, algorithm implementation, regulatory and compliance-driven architecture decisions, and technical documentation for finance-specific systems.
Compensation: $105/hour
Commitment: Flexible, up to 20 hours per week (up to $2,100/week)
Location: Fully remote, work on your own schedule
