We're partnering with an established and successful organisation based in Milton Keynes to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner into a key role within its finance team. This is a senior, commercially focused position offering significant exposure across the business. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you’ll provide the financial insight, challenge and direction needed to support commercial decision‑making and drive business performance. You’ll also play an important role within the wider finance team, providing leadership and support to others and helping to further develop the quality and impact of finance across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to support commercial and strategic decision-making
- Providing clear financial insight, analysis and constructive challenge around business performance
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across your areas of responsibility
- Identifying key trends, risks and opportunities and translating these into meaningful recommendations
- Supporting commercial initiatives, investment decisions and key business projects
- Developing management information and reporting to improve visibility and understanding of performance
- Challenging assumptions and ensuring financial considerations are embedded within business decisions
- Supporting and developing members of the finance team, creating a high‑performing and collaborative environment
- Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting and business partnering
- Acting as a senior finance representative and helping strengthen relationships between finance and the wider business
About You
We're looking for an accomplished finance professional who can combine strong technical foundations with commercial judgement, leadership capability and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will ideally have:
- A recognised accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong experience within finance business partnering, commercial finance or a similarly commercially focused role
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and influencing decision‑making
- Previous experience managing, coaching or developing others
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information clearly
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the credibility to operate effectively at a senior level
