We're working with a growing business in Milton Keynes to recruit a Management Accountant who will play a key role within the finance team. This is a varied position offering exposure across all aspects of management accounting, with the opportunity to take ownership, improve processes and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for supporting the production of monthly management accounts while helping to provide meaningful financial information that supports business decision-making.
- Responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end close.
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial controls.
- Investigating variances and providing clear commentary on financial performance.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Supporting the year-end audit process and statutory reporting requirements.
- Producing financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.
