Working closely with the wider finance team, you will play an important role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end processes and providing meaningful financial information to help drive business performance. The Role • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. • Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments as part of the month-end process. • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. • Analyse financial performance, identifying variances and providing commentary. • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial information and support decision-making. • Assist with cash flow reporting and monitoring. • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and controls. • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and projects. About You • Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA, actively working towards completing your qualification. • Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant or similar finance role. • Good understanding of management accounts and month-end processes. • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial information. • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues across a business. • Motivated to develop professionally and take on additional responsibility.
