Ethos Talent is partnering with an established manufacturing business in Milton Keynes to recruit an Assistant Accountant for an initial 9-month term, with a view to the position becoming permanent.
This role offers hybrid and flexible working.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in transactional finance and is now looking to broaden their experience across month-end, management accounting and financial reporting.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll gain exposure across a varied finance function while playing an active role in improving processes, controls and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with management reporting, analysis and commentary Supporting intercompany reconciliations and investigating differences Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and supporting payment runs Maintaining accurate accounting records within the ERP system Supporting internal and external audit requirements Contributing to finance process improvements and stronger financial controls Working with colleagues across the business to resolve ...
