Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant in Milton Keynes

Job Description Ethos Talent is partnering with an established and growing business in Milton Keynes to recruit a Management Accountant. The role will provide good exposure across month-end, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, with the opportunity to make a genuine contribution to how the finance function supports the business. Preparation of monthly management accounts Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls Producing variance analysis and providing commentary on performance Working with stakeholders across the business to understand financial performance Supporting cash flow and financial reporting where required Identifying opportunities to improve existing finance processes and reporting Supporting year-end and audit requirements Providing wider support to the finance team as required This role would suit someone with a strong grounding in management accounting who is looking to continue developing their experience and take on greater responsibility. You may be part-qualified, finalist or recently qualified through ACCA, CIMA or ACA, with previous experience working within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar role. Strong month-end and management accounting experience Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems The confidence to build relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders This is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you can continue developing your technical and commercial finance experience while taking ownership of a broad Management Accountant remit.
