Ethos Talent are partnering with a well-established and growing business to recruit a Management Accountant based in Birmingham. This role offers hybrid and flexible working. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to join a collaborative and commercially focused finance team within a fast-paced environment. The role will play a key part in supporting month-end close, financial reporting, analysis and continuous improvement activities, whilst also offering exposure across the wider finance function and business operations.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the wider finance team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance analysis and helping to drive process improvements across the function. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a varied position where they can combine strong technical accounting skills with commercial insight and stakeholder interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead month-end close activities
- Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with management accounting tasks
