This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to broaden their management accounting experience and gain exposure to a varied role within a supportive finance team. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support year-end audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure financial records remain accurate and compliant
- Assist with stock reporting, reconciliations and fixed asset accounting
- Produce financial analysis and management information for stakeholders
- Support payroll, expenses and wider month-end finance activities
- Help identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
About You
- Previous experience supporting the production of management accounts
- Ideally AAT qualified, studying towards a professional qualification either ACCA/CIMA (candidates who are at latter stages of AAT will also be considered)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
