An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused and technically strong Financial Controller to join a highly respected international manufacturing and distribution business during an exciting period of growth. This is far more than a traditional controllership role. Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving financial control, international reporting, group consolidation, FP&A and operational finance across a complex global business. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will provide meaningful financial insight, strengthen controls, support operational performance and influence commercial decision-making across both UK and international operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial control, monthly reporting and management accounts
  • Manage international reporting and group consolidation
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting and KPI performance analysis
  • Deliver commercial insight to support operational decision-making
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to improve performance and controls
  • Support ERP, systems enhancement and finance transformation initiatives

About You

You will be a technically strong, commercially minded Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with a minimum of 3 years PQE and possess:

  • Strong financial control and reporting experience
  • International reporting / group consolidation exposure
  • ERP and systems experience with a continuous improvement mindset (Dynamics AX would be advantageous)
  • Strong stakeholder partnering capability
  • Manufacturing, Engineering or product-led sector experience (advantageous)
