Ethos Talent is partnering with an established manufacturing business in Milton Keynes to recruit an Assistant Accountant for an initial 9-month term, with a view to the position becoming permanent. This role offers hybrid and flexible working.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in transactional finance and is now looking to broaden their experience across month-end, management accounting and financial reporting.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll gain exposure across a varied finance function while playing an active role in improving processes, controls and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with management reporting, analysis and commentary
- Supporting intercompany reconciliations and investigating differences
- Completing daily and monthly
