Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a new, industry leading client of ours who are a specialist provider of integrated safety and security solutions, offering services that range from advanced fire protection systems to comprehensive security technologies and are a national provider of high-quality security solutions delivering everything from small domestic installations to large commercial projects. They are renowned for their professional expertise and customer-focused approach, delivering tailored solutions that help protect people, property, and critical assets across a variety of industries. Due to consistent growth and expansion, they are looking for a Security Service Engineer based in Whiteley to join them ASAP.

You will be responsible for the install, service and maintenance of fire and security systems with a focus on CCTV and alarms across domestic and commercial sites to ensure customers receive reliable, compliant and high-quality protection, whilst contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position working 40 hours per week paying £40k DOE + Company Van & Tools + Paid Travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, service and repair Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Complete PPMs, maintenance and reactive works to achieve high first-time fix rates.
  • Communicate effectively with Admin, Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless scheduling.
  • Upload documentation, certificates, photos and notes via our job management system.
  • Maintain accurate van stock, tools and vehicle condition.
  • Be part of the call-out rota and occasionally provide remote support.
  • Identify design issues or repeat faults and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and customer service skills.
  • Good communication and timekeeping.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • To pass the NSI Gold standard vetting process.
  • To pass the Enhanced DBS check (as we service schools, care homes and hospitals).
