Job Details

• Job Title: Modular Joiner (Urgently Required)
• Start Date: Tuesday, 22nd April
• Location: York
• Rate: £16.00 to £20.00 per hour
• Pay Type: Earning or CIS rates
• Position: Temporary to Permanent

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Modular Joiner to join our Modular Building client in the York area.

Main Duties

• Measuring and cutting timber
• Using joinery tools
• Reading joinery construction drawings
• Stud wall construction
• Plasterboarding
• Maintaining workplace safety and 2nd fix joinery duties
• Semi-skilled joinery practices
• Sheeting
• Basic floor laying and roofing
• General labouring duties

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of modular joinery experience
• NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Joinery and Carpentry (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Punctuality, reliability, and hard work ethic
