An established and reputable fabrication business specialising in wear protection and lining solutions is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join its growing team. This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with strong welding experience who enjoys leading by example on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication and welding operations
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of fabricators and welders
  • Carry out hands-on fabrication and welding work as required
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and deadlines
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
  • Liaise with management to plan workloads and improve efficiency

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong, proven experience in MIG and MAG welding
  • Solid background in fabrication within an industrial or heavy engineering environment
  • Experience supervising or mentoring others
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Desirable (but Not Essential)

  • Experience in hard facing / hard face welding

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm
