Logistics & Stock Lead – Manufacturing Site
North East Lincolnshire| Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Circa Β£37k per annum + Benefits
We are partnering with a well-established UK manufacturer to recruit a proactive and experienced Logistics Lead to take ownership of site-wide logistics operations. This is a hands-on and strategic role that is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to play a key role in shaping efficient, scalable logistics systems from the ground up.
Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing the movement and organisation of raw materials and finished goods across the site.
  • Implementing and improving stock control systems, including structured racking and logical storage layouts.
  • Working directly with hauliers to arrange deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and cost-effective transport.
  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and transport providers.
  • Leading the development and implementation of cycle count procedures and supporting audits as required.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, including booking, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy and minimising disruptions to production through robust planning.
  • Supervising or working alongside warehouse and forklift teams to ensure safe, compliant logistics operations.
  • Driving continuous improvement in logistics processes, systems, and supply chain efficiency.

What We\’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years\’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of raw material handling, stock rotation, and warehousing principles.
  • Experience implementing or improving inventory management systems and ERP/stock control software.
  • Confident in working with hauliers, negotiating rates, and managing delivery schedules.
  • Organised, process-driven and able to coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Experience supporting audits and inventory accuracy (cycle counts, stock checks).
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
