As the company continues to invest and expand, we are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to strengthen our team and support our ongoing growth.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Overtime available – 1.5×.

Job Role of a CNC Machinist:
- Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines to tight tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD/CAM information.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to suit materials and operations.
- Carry out in‑process checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and within required timescales.
- Maintain accurate records and job documentation.
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and colleagues to optimise machining processes.
- Support workshop housekeeping and ensure machinery remains clean and well maintained.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and promote safe working practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
Skills & Experience Required of a CNC Machinist:
- Demonstrable experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment.
- Experience programming on Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of machining methods, tooling selection, and materials.
- Capable of working independently with full ownership of quality and output.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing top‑quality work.
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Good communicator with strong teamwork skills.
