6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused General Coating Operative to join our advanced manufacturing team. Reporting to the Coating Cell Team Leader, you will be responsible for pre- and post-coating operations, ensuring products meet exacting quality and safety standards.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused General Coating Operative to join our advanced manufacturing team. Reporting to the Coating Cell Team Leader, you will be responsible for pre- and post-coating operations, ensuring products meet exacting quality and safety standards.
Hours
37.5 per week (including breaks):
- Mon–Thu: 6:00am–2:00pm
- Fri: 6:00am–11:30am
Key Responsibilities Of a Coating Operative
- Prepare products for coating in line with production schedules, following all relevant work instructions and quality specifications.
- Carry out post-coating and finishing operations, ensuring full compliance with specifications.
- Identify and report any areas of non-conformance, keeping accurate records and escalating issues when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Adapt to different areas of the coating department to meet production demand.
- Learn new skills and contribute to training colleagues.
- Undertake basic machine maintenance in line with current practices.
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors or management.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Committed to high productivity and quality output.
- Methodical approach with a strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise, with the ability to share knowledge with others.
- Maintenance experience advantageous but not essential.
Contract & Benefits
- 6-month fixed term (with 3-month probation period).
- Annual salary: ÂŁ23,909
