Field Technical Sales Engineer
Ethos Foundation is seeking a proactive Technical Sales Engineer to support continued growth across the Midlands, South of England and Wales. The company supplies engineered solutions and technical support to a wide range of sectors, including food processing, packaging, logistics, printing and general manufacturing.

Role Responsibilities
- Manage and develop sales in line with the UK business plan, supported by internal teams.
- Generate new business while maintaining existing accounts.
- Create structured visit plans using CRM and sales data, focusing on priority customers.
- Identify opportunities, solve customer application problems, and provide technical advice.
- Negotiate and review contracts, ensuring effective and profitable customer relationships.
- Report market intelligence and complete accurate CRM‑based sales reports.
- Manage territory efficiently with strong time and travel planning.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent service and on‑time delivery.
- Attend sales meetings, quarterly reviews, and complete required training (internal/external, face‑to‑face or online).
Specification
- Experience in technical sales, field engineering, or industrial account management.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, belting or automation is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated, customer‑focused and able to work independently across a large geographic area.
- Full UK driving licence.
