About The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Bagging Operative to join our clients busy warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for distribution by accurately weighing, filling, sealing, and labeling bags to meet quality and safety standards.
You will play a vital part in ensuring our operations run smoothly and products are packaged and ready for shipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate bagging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Weigh and fill bags with product according to specifications.
- Seal, label, and prepare bags for palletising.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Conduct basic quality checks on filled bags (e.g., weight, seal integrity).
- Report any faults, defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with palletizing and general warehouse duties as required.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
- Some flexibility is required depending on workload and dispatch deadlines.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous production, warehouse or manufacturing experience is essential
- Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
