Experienced Pre-School Room Leader needed in Catford! This is a permanent and full-time Room Leader role to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, with an ASAP start. Salary will be £31,420 per annum.

As Room Leader, you will be based in the pre-school room, managing a team of 3 practitioners and managing the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring it is a safe environment for children, staff and others. Responsibilities include:
- Working closely and co-operatively with the Managers, Deputy, and other Room Leaders
- Planning appropriate and engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Managing and supervising any observations, assessments and planning in the room
- Ensuring all children are making progress
- Creating trusting relationships with children’s families
- Working with outside professionals when required
- Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years or Childcare
- Experience as a Pre-School Room Leader
- 2 or more years of experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Experience as a key worker
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS
- Good standard of English and Maths
- Effective leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
