We are looking for an experienced Nursery Chef to join the team at this lovely nursery in Lewisham! This is a permanent role to work full time - 40 hours per week with shifts between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm. The salary would be £31k per annum.
It is essential that you have experience working as a Chef in a nursery, and strong knowledge and awareness of allergens and dietary requirements is required.
As a Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting age-appropriate meals for children, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times. Working closely with the rest of the nursery team plus parents/carers, you will also support children's overall care and educational experience. Additionally, you will ensure accurate records of supplies are maintained, ordering replacements as needed and adhering to the nursery’s budget requirements.
