A Baby Room Practitioner role is now available at a nursery in the heart of Waltham Forest. This nursery values every child's individuality and ensures they are making progress in line with the EYFS Framework. This is a great opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to further their skills in a new setting within the baby room.
It is essential that you hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and previous experience is required.
Responsibilities:- Ensuring babies are happy during their time at nursery
- Encouraging babies to begin walking and talking
- Assisting with personal care and feeding
- Preparing babies for the move to the toddler room
- Supervising nap time
- Tracking key children's progress
This is a permanent position and you will be working full time Monday-Friday at this lovely nursery with a management team that truly cares. They put staff's wellbeing at the forefront and offer further training fully funded. Salary would be from £27k-£30k per annum, and you will get 31 days of holiday per year. The nursery is in a great location in Waltham Forest, with excellent transport links making it easy to get to.
