This bright and welcoming nursery in Kingston, SW London, is currently seeking a passionate and committed Early Years Practitioner to join the friendly and hardworking team of staff!
Previous experience working with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner. Supported by a management team who truly care about every member of staff, you will be working collaboratively with other likeminded and dedicated individuals, and this is a great place for any Early Years Practitioner to work! As an Early Years Practitioner, you are playing a key role in preparing young children for their future, and it is important to have a real passion for supporting their growth and development in their most formative years. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and children's learning and development is desirable too.
Your main responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner will include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
- Assisting with the development of early maths skills
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
- Feeding and personal care at times
- Observing and assessing key children's progress and development
Located in Kingston, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to excellent transport links and local parking, and there are lovely outdoor spaces, both privately owned by the nursery and local parks nearby. The nursery also offers a cycle to work scheme.
This is a permanent position for the suitable Early Years Practitioner to work full-time Monday-Friday, and interviews will be taking place ASAP!
