Early Years Educator role – Available in Westminster
A rewarding position is now available at a welcoming and vibrant nursery in London for a passionate Early Years Educator. Located in the heart of Westminster, this nursery has plenty of transport links, as well as parking available. This is a great nursery which offers many incentives and benefits, including performance bonuses paid throughout the year, and as an Early Years Educator you would be supported by a management team who really value every single member of staff.
A relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this role and prior experience working in a nursery or with children under 5 is important for the suitable Early Years Educator.
Working full-time (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm) as a Qualified Early Years Educator, you will:
- Use the Early Years Framework and EYFS curriculum to assist with early reading and early maths skills development
- Support children with their personal, social and emotional development
- Create a supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment within the nursery
- Have strong knowledge of early childhood development
- Encourage development through play and exploration
- Lead/assist with activities that stimulate children\\\’s imagination and creativity
- Plan and deliver creative lessons that are fun and based on the Early Years curriculum
- Work collaboratively with a team of likeminded and dedicated staff
- Carry out observations to assess key children\\\’s progress and development
