At least a Level 3 (or above) qualification in early years or childcare is required for the suitable Early Years Practitioner. This nursery has a home-feel atmosphere for the children, and with supportive management who have a clear vision for staff progression, this is a great place for any Early Years Practitioner to work. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be committed to and passionate about Early Years Education, which is important for this nursery who are focused on building children's confidence and independence from an early age.
Responsibilities:- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
- Be a strong communicator - collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians
- Provide an environment that encourages development through play and exploration
- Assist with early reading and early maths skills
- Have previous experience working in a nursery or a childcare setting
- Be knowledgeable of EYFS and child development
- Encourage child-led learning
- Have a positive attitude and passion towards working with children
- At least a Level 3 (or above) qualification in early years or childcare
