About the role
We're recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school's SEND team in Camberwell, South London.
This is a varied and rewarding role that will shape your career in education whilst making a tangible difference to young people with complex needs.
As a Teaching Assistant specialising in SEND, you'll work at the heart of the school's special needs provision, delivering targeted support across multiple year groups and settings.
You'll be part of a dedicated SEND team, working collaboratively to remove barriers to learning and enable young people to succeed.
Your role as a SEND TA will include
- Delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions for pupils with complex needs
- Co-delivering specialist programmes supporting communication, language and learning
- Supporting pupils' integration into mainstream classroom settings
- Building relationships and trust with young people who've experienced educational barriers
- Contributing to assessment and progress tracking that drives pupil outcomes
