A global enterprise AI company is looking to appoint a General Manager to own and build the UK market, at the forefront of one of the most significant technology transformations of our generation. My client deploys production-grade AI agents that transform how the world's largest regulated enterprises interact with their customers. The technology is live, at scale, and already delivering measurable results across a rapidly growing number of markets worldwide.
The company is one of the fastest-scaling enterprise AI businesses in the world, backed by world-class investors, with a proven market-entry playbook that it is now executing globally. The UK is one of its highest-priority targets.
We are not looking for good, we are looking for the best. This is a rare role with a market-ownership position at a category-defining company, at exactly the moment it matters most. We are looking for either a Founder who has successfully built, scaled and sold their own multi-million pound business with a heavy focus on AI, or a top-level Partner within Strategy Consulting who has led, shaped and delivered AI related board-level assignments to some of the UK's biggest companies, with a focus on Banking, Insurance or Telco.
What you will do as General Manager, UK:
- Own the market, full P&L accountability, client relationships, team leadership and culture.
- Open doors at the highest level; your existing personal relationships at C-suite across UK banking, telco and insurance are what make you right for this role.
- Sell the vision, not just the product. You will sit in boardrooms and help the UK's most senior executives reimagine their organisations over the next three years.
- Close enterprise deals, seven-figure+ contracts, complex procurement, multi-stakeholder sign-off.
- Build a world-class team, hire, develop and retain exceptional people in one of the most competitive talent markets in the world.
- Stay close to delivery; you set the standard for what great implementation looks like and you drive it.
To be considered for the General Manager, UK role you must have:
- Personal relationships at CEO, CFO and CTO level across the UK's largest financial institutions, Insurers and/or Telcos.
- The ability to stand in front of a board and paint a compelling 3-year vision of organisational transformation.
- A proven track record of building teams; you know how to attract, close and retain world-class talent in a fiercely competitive market.
- A founder's mentality; you do whatever it takes to succeed.
- Personally signed enterprise contracts worth seven or eight figures+.
- End-to-end accountability; you understand what great delivery looks like and you stay accountable for it.
Your background:
- Exited Founder (AI related business): You built a B2B or enterprise technology business from the ground up to significant scale and sold it (£multi-million+).
- Senior Partner or Managing Director (top-tier strategy consulting): Partner or MD at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
The right person for this role does not need to be told who the target clients are. They already know the people in those buildings.
Sector focus: major retail and investment banks, tier-one telcos, leading insurers and private healthcare providers.
Deal size: seven-figure-plus enterprise contracts with multi-year terms.
If you believe you are one of the best in the UK at what you do and this opportunity speaks to you, please get in touch. All enquiries are treated with the highest level of discretion.
