Ethon was built to eliminate the trillion-dollar waste problem in manufacturing. We are the technology leader in Industrial AI, building agentic workflows that help manufacturers optimize cost, quality, and speed of production. We serve manufacturers from Siemens and Bosch to Lindt and Roche, and are backed by Index Ventures, General Catalyst, and Earlybird. Our team draws from Palantir, McKinsey, Meta, Google, and top manufacturing companies, all here for the same reason: giving manufacturers the technology to run every factory at unprecedented productivity.

What is this job about? You will take a signed logo and turn them into a flagship reference. That means getting onto the shopfloor fast, understanding what drives their KPIs, and deploying Ethon's agentic workflows where the impact is highest. You implement the first use case while already mapping the next. When the engineer is sold, you bring in the plant manager. Once the plant manager is convinced, you get to the COO.

This is what you'll do:

  • Own the deployment: You're the person who makes sure go-live happens on time and the customer's team knows how to use it. You handle the onboarding, the training, and the change management that gets a new platform embedded into daily operations.
  • Turn shop floor problems into business cases: An operator tells you yield drops on line 3 every Tuesday night. You figure out why, quantify what it costs, and build the case for the next deployment. You're as comfortable talking to a process engineer as you are presenting to a VP of Operations.
  • Drive expansion: You know which teams in the account haven't seen Ethon yet, which problems are still unsolved, and what it takes to get the next use case signed.
  • Be on-site: You're in factories. The insights that matter don't come from email chains and slides, they come from being on the floor.
  • Feed the product: You're closest to what customers actually need. You bring that signal back to Engineering and Product and you help us build something better.
  • Work with the team: GTM & Sales brings the logo with your help as a trustworthy industry expert, you take it from there. You work tightly with Engineering on delivery and with the commercial team on expansion opportunities.

The best people in this seat combine strategic thinking with the willingness to get their hands dirty on a shopfloor. We can teach you our product. We can't teach you to care about how things get made, or to push hard when a deployment is stuck.

You're technically sharp enough to understand a production process and commercially minded enough to turn a pain point into a business case.

You have 3-5 years of experience in something demanding: consulting, enterprise tech deployment, or a career on the shopfloor.

You know how to manage complex stakeholder environments, from shopfloor operators to C-suite sponsors.

You've run change management or adoption programs and know what it takes to get people to actually use new tools.

You have a builder mindset: when something isn't working, your instinct is to fix it rather than upscale it.

You're open to travel 30-50% of the time.

How will we set you up in your first six months:

  • Months 1-2: Learn about product, customers, and how our best deployments get done. You shadow live accounts, learn the platform end-to-end, and expand your understanding of how manufacturers think. You start working on your first account.
  • Months 3-4: You own delivery for one or more accounts, with support from the team.
  • Months 5-6: Full ownership of one or more customers. You're running deployments, driving expansion conversations, and your first upsell is in motion.

Great fits tend to come from backgrounds like:

  • Deployment, implementation, or customer success at high-growth industrial tech companies (e.g., Palantir, Rockwell, Siemens Digital Industries) where you owned outcomes.
  • Top-tier consulting, ready to stop writing recommendations and start executing them.
  • Digital transformation or operational excellence roles inside manufacturing companies, where things were moving too slowly for you.
  • Manufacturing or process engineering, where you've lived the problems Ethon solves, you know what a plant manager actually cares about, and customers trust you the moment you walk onto their floor.
  • A technical degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.

Bonus:

  • Experience with MES, ERP, Historian, or quality systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Fluency in German, French, or another European language.

Why is Ethon right for you? We are building an office in London and you will be the founding hire on the ground. Feedback loops are short and access to founders is direct. People who prove themselves here outgrow their title fast. Additionally, we offer:

  • Onboarding in the Swiss Alps.
  • Performance-based career and growth paths.
  • Competitive compensation including a meaningful base and stock options giving you a stake in Ethon's long-term success.
  • Hybrid work with significant scope for flexible schedules.
  • 5 Weeks PTO.
  • Vacation bonus if you take two consecutive weeks of vacation.
  • Flexible parental leave.
  • Learning budget for courses, conferences, and coaching.

If this sounds like your kind of work, we would like to meet you. We're committed to building a team that reflects the diverse world we live in. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, and we especially welcome voices traditionally underrepresented in tech.
