We are working with a specialist school in Wellingborough that is seeking permanent Tutors to join their team in June/September. This school specialises in working with students that have been excluded from mainstream education and helps prepare them for employment.

As a Tutor you will be expected to plan, deliver and mark learning in small classes of around 6 students and 1:1 teaching when required in English or Maths and life skill subjects.

Working hours are:

  • 8.30am - 4.30pm 3x p/w
  • 8.30am - 2.45pm 1x p/w
  • 8.30am - 3.15pm 1x p/w

Term Time only.

Job Role Essential Criteria

  • Experience delivering lessons to classes of students
  • Planning and marking experience
  • 5 GCSE qualifications or the equivalent - must include Maths and English
  • Understanding of special educational needs
