Ethicare Support Services are looking for caring, reliable Community Care Workers to join our growing team supporting vulnerable adults, young people & children in their own homes, in the community, across Leeds postcodes. We provide high-quality social care to vulnerable adults, young people and children, promoting dignity, independence and quality of life.

Pay & Benefits
- £12.60 per hour + paid mileage for drivers
- 3-day induction training held at our Pudsey office.
- Time and a half on Bank Holidays
- 4 weeks paid annual leave
- Paid training & shadowing – £250

What We’re Looking For

- Previous care experience desirable but not essential (full training provided)
Shift Patterns
- 7am – 2pm (Breakfast & Lunch Calls)
- 4pm – 10pm (Tea & Bed Calls)
Applicants can work either or both shifts – flexibility available on days! Full time hours (35-40) Part Time hours (20/25).
Applicants must be:
- Flexible, compassionate & patient.
- Able to work alternate weekends
- Given a weekday off to support work-life balance and continuity of care
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Support with medication prompting and administration
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking
- Carry out household tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany service users to appointments (GP, hospital, dentist)
- Encourage independence and social engagement
- Accurately complete care records and documentation
- Report concerns to the Assistant Manager & Registered Manager
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations
