• We have full & part time hours available to suit – mornings and or afternoon work available!
• £12.50 per hour (+ mileage for drivers.)

Ethicare are a private home care provider, based in Pudsey, LS28.

Our service is designed to provide care in the comfort of our service users’ own homes. Our experienced staff support a variety of people & children with individual needs, always maintaining dignity, respect and promoting independence.

We require care workers who are professional, kind-hearted & caring, who are committed to caring for vulnerable adults & children who live in Wakefield. We cover WF1, WF2, WF4 & WF4 postcodes.

Duties to be carried out as a Care Assistant:

• Daily duties such as Washing & Dressing.
• Administering medication.
• Personal Care.
• Daily visits, morning, lunch, teas & beds.
• Laundry.
• Shopping calls.
• Social calls.
• Preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch & dinner.
• Accompanying to doctors’, dentists & hospital appointments.

Working shifts are:

• 7am – 2pm shift (Breakfast & Lunch Calls).
• &/or
• 4pm – 9.30pm shift (Tea & Bed Calls).

We do ask for our Carers to be able to work alternate weekend, with a day off during the week to ensure good continuity of care to our service users.

Car Drivers preferred–However, if you do not have your own car, we will endeavour to find local work for you, but you must be prepared to travel on public transport to your care calls.
