We are currently recruiting a Hostess for an Indian restaurant in Leeds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcoming guests warmly, providing menus, and escorting them to tables.
  • Managing, organising, and booking reservations (via phone/online) and coordinating the floor plan to balance table turnover.
  • Managing waitlists, providing accurate wait times, and handling initial customer complaints or queries.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the entryway, checking on restrooms, and sometimes assisting with bussing, rolling silverware, or managing takeout orders.
  • Serving as a liaison between guests, servers, and the kitchen, and ensuring special requests (e.g., high chairs, dietary needs) are communicated.

You should be comfortable wearing a Sari.
