Youll play a key role in delivering consistently high-quality dishes, working as part of a busy kitchen team where pace, precision and teamwork are essential. The Role Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori specialities, marinades, sauces and accompaniments. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, traditional cooking methods and flavour profiles. Deliver dishes quickly and consistently during busy service periods without compromising quality. Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth, efficient service. Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, stock rotation and kitchen organisation. Monitor stock levels, minimise food waste and ensure ingredients are used efficiently. Support menu development and contribute ideas to enhance the dining experience. About You Previous experience as a Commis Chef/Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a busy professional kitchen. Strong experience in Indian cuisine, with a solid understanding of regional dishes, spices and cooking techniques. Confident working in a high-volume, fast-paced casual dining environment. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your section independently. A strong team player who communicates effectively and thrives under pressure.
