Overview

We are recruiting a Head Pastry chef for our client in London.

Responsibilities

  • Pastry Production & Menu Creation: Design, develop, and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the exceptional quality of all pastry products and maintain strict standards for food safety, hygiene, and allergen handling.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with food health and safety regulations, and the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Culinary Expertise: A proven ability to create a variety of pastries and desserts, from classic to contemporary, with an emphasis on both taste and presentation.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills to effectively motivate and guide the pastry team, coupled with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in a senior pastry position within high-end kitchens is often required.
