This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, has a strong understanding of wok cooking techniques and takes pride in creating bold flavours, perfectly balanced dishes and consistently high standards.
The Role Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Asian dishes using traditional wok techniques.
Demonstrate excellent wok skills, including high-heat cooking, stir-frying and precise timing.
Deliver dishes with outstanding flavour, quality, consistency and presentation.
Maintain speed and efficiency during busy service periods without compromising standards.
Ensure all ingredients, sauces and garnishes are prepared and ready for service.
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to maintain smooth service.
Contribute ideas for menu development, new dishes and seasonal specials.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and health and safety standards.
Monitor stock levels, minimise food waste and ensure ingredients are handled correctly.
About You Proven experience as a Wok Chef or in a specialist Asian kitchen.
Strong knowledge of wok cooking, Asian ingredients, sauces and flavour profiles.
Confident working with high heat in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Excellent knife skills, preparation techniques and attention to detail.
A passion for authentic flavours, quality ingredients and consistently great food.
A positive, team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
The ability to stay organised and deliver high-quality dishes under pressure.
