Role Overview
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the delivery and management of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure, including the connection to the distribution network. This role is essential for managing the electrical aspects of the project, from the design and procurement of electrical systems to the commissioning and connection to the grid under ICP regulations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of ICP processes and the technical, regulatory, and safety requirements associated with connecting energy systems to the grid
What will you be doing?
- Project Management : Lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects, focusing on the integration of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems to the electrical grid as an ICP
- ICP Process Management : Oversee all aspects of the ICP process, including submission of connection applications, design and procurement of electrical connections, and liaising with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) for the grid connection.
- Team Leadership : Manage the electrical project team, including engineers, contractors, and technicians, to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of electrical systems on utility-scale solar projects.
- Connection Coordination : Coordinate with DNOs, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely grid connections, ensuring compliance with local electrical regulations and project timelines.
- RFI and Change Management : Oversee the Request for Information (RFI) process and manage electrical design changes, ensuring prompt resolution to avoid project delays.

- At least 3-8 years’ professional experience in a project management role.
