Permanent position in Telford
Working hours: 6am - 5pm, Monday to Thursday; Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
Annual salary: £38,800.00

We are looking for an experienced Dip Moulding Team Leader who will assist the production manager and lead a medium-sized team to achieve all production targets while ensuring health and safety and environmental controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring IMS (Integrated Management System) requirements are maintained and continually improved.
- Monitor output versus achievements versus targets and react as necessary.
- Ensure all team members are following procedures including work instructions, risk and COSHH assessments, PPE requirements and process control documentation.
- Work flexibly to open, lock-up, turn on and off appropriate equipment for the Dip Moulding Area, including alarm call-out possibilities.
- Ensure the dip team meets the requirements of the weekly Intouch schedules.
- Monitor scrap levels and react to/report any concerns immediately.
- Ensure management is aware of any issues liable to affect or compromise the IMS.
- Maintain safety/environmental standards.
- Ensure operators are trained to an acceptable standard, working with the dip team to train other team members efficiently.
- Lead by example through a professional approach to communication with staff at all levels and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
- Ensure the team has required stock levels of all materials to accommodate production of components.
- Assist the Production Manager in delivering accurate appraisals by reporting operator performance regularly.
- Liaise with other team leaders where necessary to maximise both output and quality.
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out on equipment.
- Encourage and implement a strict good housekeeping regime.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Awareness of the IMS requirements.
- Develop an understanding of machine set-up and maintain machine conditions.
- Ability to manage operators within the team to achieve maximum output and quality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of management systems and previous production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets under pressure within a changing environment.
- Previous experience in team leadership or supervision.
