The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

Once you have had a comprehensive induction period, shadowing both reactive and planned teams, you will become part of a maintenance team that provides vital support to the company's production/manufacturing. This is an excellent time to join the business and this role will give the opportunity of prospects, additional pay increases and a long-term future.

Job role / duties:

  • Ensure safe working practices are used at all times
  • Provide engineering breakdown support for the shift production teams ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Use root cause analysis tools to support one-time fix solutions for repeat failures
  • Identify cost saving opportunities through energy, maintenance & material streams
  • Ensure maintenance paperwork is kept up to date for all site works
  • Support in developing preventative maintenance programs and improvements to support asset reliability
  • Reactive maintenance/breakdown on both electrical & mechanical machinery
  • Fault finding on Mitsubishi PLCs
  • Some working at height (up to 15 metres)
  • Some fabrication/welding
  • Support preventative maintenance initiatives

To be considered you MUST:

  • Have experience of maintenance engineering within an environment of high-speed production equipment
  • Hold a formal engineering qualification at level 3 or above in either an electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Be a current or previous licence holder for MEWP/FLT
  • Ideally possess PLC experience in fault diagnosis/programming
  • Have a broad spectrum of maintenance ability
