Job role / duties:
- Coordinate with suppliers to align material deliveries with production schedules
- Expedite urgent orders
- Manage non-conformance returns
- Oversee day-to-day material availability
- Material Scheduling & ERP Management
- Leverage MRP system to effectively schedule, track, and communicate material movements
- Maintain accurate lead times
- Input and maintain up-to-date purchase order information
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers
- Manage and expedite purchase orders
- Track, analyse, and report on supplier OTIF performance
- Manage the end-to-end return, credit, or replacement process
- Support inventory optimisation strategies
- Partner with Production, Sales, Warehouse, and Dispatch
- Attend meetings to provide clear status updates on material arrivals
- Maintain flexibility to assist with broader supply chain tasks as required by business needs.
To be considered for this role you MUST:
- Possess proven ability in this role in supply chain
- Be highly experienced with integrated ERP/MRP systems
- Possess exceptional written & verbal communication skills
