As the Warehouse Team Leader you will supervise all deliveries & collections whilst supervising the Warehouse staff (numbers vary to work load). You will report into the Warehouse Manager and coordinate with all members of staff, in particularly contracts, sub contract teams & external logistics. £29k per annum / £14.74 per hour Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00 / 14:00 to 22:00 Essential Requirements Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisory experience Current forklift truck licence Counterbalance advantageous Be able to work unsupervised whilst meet set deadlines Computer literacy essential CRM system Knowledge Hold full UK Driving License Good communication skills Well organised and focused on service delivery Ability to work under pressure Self-motivated and ambitious Flexible approach to the role, requiring out of hours working at times Key responsibilities Material planning, packing and delivery Co-ordination with the contracts team to plan forthcoming project requirements, planning and packing materials in readiness for despatch complete with all necessary administration requirements. Have a full in depth knowledge of the products supplied (Training provided) Booking of transport to site and project specifics. Constant review of material & delivery requirements, subject to change and short notice. Effective planning and stock control Daily updating of stock within the warehouse, stock level monitoring and re ordering stock Administer stock control spreadsheet Preparing Purchase Orders Take part in the quarterly and end of year stock take Accepting deliveries and shipping of goods Ensuring there are no damages, that everything ordered is present and accounted for Ensuring adequate security systems are in place Health and safety and welfare training for warehouse operativesIn addition to the duties and responsibilities listed you may be required to perform other duties assigned by your manager as reasonably required. Must be flexible in working hours to meet demands of the business, requiring some weekend working with time of in lieu.
