Key role and responsibilities for Warehouse Operative:
- Perform final visual inspections of computer systems for quality and finish.
- Clean systems thoroughly before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Carefully pack systems using internal packaging materials and box them securely for shipment.
- Work with the dispatch team to ensure all orders are sent out on time.
- Liaise with Technicians to prioritise packing based on daily production schedules and deadlines.
- Report any defects or concerns to the relevant team for resolution before dispatch.
Minimum requirements for Warehouse Operative:
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to follow instructions and quality standards consistently.
- Good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move computer systems and boxes (Our systems on average are between 10-15kg but can be much heavier and require 2 people to lift).
- Experience in a packing or quality control role is desirable but not essential.
- Hand scanning experience.
Pay rate: Β£12.21 per hour
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.30
- Monday to Friday 10.00 - 19.00
- Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30 with a Saturday 09.00 - 17.00
This job is commutable from the following areas: Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Hanley, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Trentham and surrounding areas.
