Circa £55,000 plus excellent benefits
Reporting directly into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering annual sales targets and gross margin objectives for the Scotland region.
- Developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to expand market share in Scottish engineering and CMM sectors.
- Proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Managing the full sales cycle.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with key accounts, partners, and third-party organisations.
- Providing accurate sales forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and Hexagon product developments.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- A proven track record in capital equipment sales within the Scottish engineering and CMM market.
- Experience of the Scottish industrial landscape, customer needs and sector-specific challenges.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in building proposals and cost justifications.
- Advanced IT skills.
- Personal integrity, trustworthiness and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
