Business Consultant – Rural property; Kettering office based; £Excellent package & benefits; Agile working policy including potential hybrid working.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of business solutions to farmers and landowners
  • Farm business management and diversification advice
  • Assist with the management of in-hand farm portfolio
  • Provide clients with practical advice on grants and subsidies including the profitable implementation of environmental schemes
  • Prepare profit and cashflow budgets for business planning
  • Provide practical and entrepreneurial advice on renewable technologies
  • Manage and develop new and existing client relationships
  • Support delivery of the business plan
  • Assist the delivery of agreed financial targets and being responsible for managing own performance

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years post degree experience
  • A practical understanding of business, agriculture, land and property
  • The ability to build a professional network
  • The knowledge to manage a budget and workload to meet this
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills & IT competence
  • Access to a vehicle with insurance for business
