An automotive component manufacturer with multiple OEM customers and in a period of growth require an R&D Engineer to implement R&D projects from the ideation phase to production feasible. The ideal candidate will have experience in a plastics production and / or an automotive assembly environment. Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge Package: £50,000 – £55,000 p.a. Suitable for: Development Engineer, Methods Engineer, Research & Development Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer The Role Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will have the following duties: -Design, develop and test of innovative automotive products. -Lead the test method development and validation. -Identify and develop innovative design and process solutions to meet automotive standards. -Develop detail project plans including design plans, quality and regulatory requirements. The Person Educated to Masters or Bachelor degree level you will have the following experience: -Experience in a plastics production and / or an automotive assembly environment. -Computer knowledge including windows office, various drawing programs and CAD. -Knowledge of injection moulding, tooling and Pro Link.
