An extremely profitable distributor of raw materials requires a Project & Process Engineer to provide engineering support to the Engineering & Transformation Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience of P&IDs and hold a degree.
Commutable from: West Bromwich, Oldbury, Walsall, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Telford
Package: £32,000 - £34,000 p.a. + Bonus + Medical Cash Plan + Enhanced pension scheme
The role:
- Reporting into the Engineering & Transformation Manager you will have the following duties:
- Develop Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Review process designs and layouts.
- Prepare and review all technical documentation.
The Person:
- Educated to degree level with a minimum of two years industrial experience you will have the following experience:
- Good working knowledge of process and mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, heat exchangers and pipework.
- Experience in the preparation of P&IDs, equipment schedules and technical documentation.
- Understanding of full project life cycle from concept and design through to installation and commissioning.
