Bakery Operatives Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 Ongoing Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and production of bakery products Operate machinery safely under supervision (training provided) Pack finished products accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and safe work area following hygiene standards Record production activities and report any issues promptly Flexibility to work across various departments within the company Pay rate: £13.11 - £13.15 per hour PAYE, paid weekly Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply Working hours: Any 4 days out of 7 Sunday to Saturday Shift times as follows: 18:30 - 06:30 / 06:30 - 18:30 19:00 to 07:00 / 19:00 to 07:00 Requirements: Good attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with manual handling and standing for periods (reasonable adjustments considered) Previous food-production experience is helpful but not essential In return we offer : Discounted On-Site Shop Free parking Canteen area Pension scheme This job is commutable from the following areas, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Hanley, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Trentham and surrounding areas.
