The Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while meeting customer demand and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
- Lead, motivate and develop production teams, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and legal requirements (BRC, HACCP, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes
- Work closely with Planning, Technical, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor KPIs, production costs, and labour efficiency, taking corrective action where required
- Support new product introductions and process development
- Ensure equipment and facilities are used effectively and maintained to a high standard
About You
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role within a food manufacturing environment
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and manufacturing best practice
- Experience working with BRC, HACCP, and Health & Safety regulations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for quality and continuous improvement
Salary and Hours
Salary - Competitive
Hours - Day shifts 7.30am till 16.30pm
