Press Brake Operator Required
Permanent Sector - Manufacturing
Region: Stoke-on-Trent (ST4)
The primary responsibilities of a Brake Press Operator are to bend sheet metal in accordance with design specifications and to ensure each piece produced is free of defects.
Key Role And Responsibilities
- Reading of specification sheets to understand technical requirements
- CNC press brake Setting
- Accurate alignment of metal inside the press brake
- Monitoring the pressing process
- Measuring and inspecting the finished sheet metal to ensure it matches specifications
- Troubleshooting and addressing problems
- Performing routine maintenance on the press brake
- Complying with all health and safety standards in the manufacturing facility
Salary: From £13.00 per hour DOE paid weekly
Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07.30 till 16.30
