Responsibilities
- Deal with customer queries in a polite and effective manner, ensuring the customer is satisfied before leaving their premises.
- Ensure customers promptly receive deliveries in excellent condition every time.
- Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and any issues that arise.
- Ensure all pre‑delivery checks are undertaken and all required stock is on the vehicle for each delivery.
- Assist in loading vehicles as required.
- Check all returns and collections are made correctly.
Minimum requirements
- Excellent communication skills, face‑to‑face and on the phone.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
- Problem‑solving skills to resolve customer problems at the point of delivery.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility with shifts and duties and excellent time‑keeping.

Pay and working hours
- Pay rate: £12.82 per hour.
- Overtime: £19.23 per hour after 48 hours worked.
- Flexible start time between 5:30 and 7:00 am; average of 9.5 hours per day.
- Tuesday to Saturday.
