Role Overview
Logistics Transport Planner Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily transport routes and vehicle allocations
- Use transport management system (TMS) and other software
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, driver hours, and health & safety requirements
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and availability
- Maintain accurate transport records and planning documentation
- Managing palletised stock and logistics
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in transport planning, logistics, or fleet coordination
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Good geographical knowledge and route‑planning ability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office and transport planning systems
- Understanding of driver hours, transport compliance, and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPC qualification or knowledge of transport compliance
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum PAYE, paid monthly
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
