The Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while meeting customer demand and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
  • Lead, motivate and develop production teams, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and legal requirements (BRC, HACCP, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes
  • Work closely with Planning, Technical, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor KPIs, production costs, and labour efficiency, taking corrective action where required
  • Support new product introductions and process development
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are used effectively and maintained to a high standard

About You

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role within a food manufacturing environment
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and manufacturing best practice
  • Experience working with BRC, HACCP, and Health & Safety regulations
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for quality and continuous improvement

Salary - Competitive

Hours - Day shifts till .pm
